"The Edgar F. Shannon Award recognizes the best graduating student from the School of Arts and Sciences. This is a great honor for Julie and for the Anthropology department. The Edgar F. Shannon Awards are conferred by the Z Society, and are named for the fourth president of the University. Julie is returning to Hamilton college where she is starting her new tenure track job this fall."
