Congratulations to Jiyeon Kang for receiving both a Weedon Travel Grant and a Buckner W. Clay grant, which will help with her fieldwork, which she is currently carrying out in Beijing!

Kudos to China Scherz

Assistant Professor China Scherz has won the UVa Alumni Board of Trustees Teaching Award for 2015-16. This University-wide award goes to an assistant professor with a "stellar teaching record" who is an "outstanding teacher". Only one award each year is made.
